Center Path Institute

A proud academy, founded and owned by Constantine van der Gros, who is beloved by the common people as an astute psychologist and generous philanthropist, even under his hard and cold exterior. It's a kind of specialized boarding school, intended mostly for (and with priority given to) students who are hybridized or for people who, by way of their mental state, could otherwise benefit from its many different accommodations or trained faculty. People unaffected by either type of condition are also allowed to attend classes here: in fact, a large majority of students are part of this group. Thankfully, despite this divide, there is little prejudice against hybridized individuals.

Center Path Institute has a very robust curriculum provided by its carefully selected staff. Each teacher has to be vetted by senior administration individually, mostly with the intent of ensuring that they are able to mesh well with some of the students on campus who suffer from any form of mental illness, or any kind of psychological or behavioral disorder that may necessitate some additional care.

The school is divided into five main buildings with a plethora of smaller buildings surrounding it: four dormitory buildings in the East, West, South, and North, and one Central building for academics. All buildings are designed with accessibility for hybridized individuals in mind, with some areas or buildings having greater degrees of accommodation; as a general rule of thumb, one should familiarize themselves with seeing 'oversized' doorways and ceilings. The campus itself is located in the town of Burncastle, the hometown of its founder; it is flanked on one of its sides by the Semyot River, which may or may not have been a meaningful planning decision meant to assist in security.
