Uptown Burncastle
Burncastle's uptown district is home to the majority of all residential housing in Burncastle, aside from the sparse dilapidated suburban areas around the swamps and the Industrial Park or the affluent housing in the same area. The uptown area itself can be separated into two distinct groups, conveniently based on geography: the hillier sections are occupied by the upper classes of the town, and the lower laying areas are home to the less affluent families of Burncastle. If my memory is correct, it has something to do with an eccentric architecturalist designing his own home and building it in the once-unoccupied hillsides of Burncastle. Before long, other wealthy people employed him as their chief architect, and soon lived in the same area as he did, wanting exactly the strange kind of cliff-houses that he invented.
Otherwise, there is not much to speak of. As one may expect, the affluent are not very open to outsiders. The general consensus is that the uptown area is usually home to wealthy families to only moved to town in order to send their children to Center Path Institute without having them board with less wealthy children, but there exists no certain evidence to prove this. Additionally, it is rumored that the super-wealthy have used the cover of the wilderness to establish a secret, cult-like meeting ground, but this is really just hearsay
As one may have already anticipated, the uptown area borders the Downtown area.
