The wife of Constantine van der Gros and the matriarch of the van der Gros family. In all senses of the word, she is conservative. She upholds the tradition and tenets of 'family' and prioritizes it, ideating it. She is always dressed in quaint, modest dresses that are nearly devoid of all color, just like the detestable house that she begged her husband to design. She is dry and tasteless, and has no sense of propriety or anything. There's nothing inside of her skull but her precious, weak grip on being a 'woman', and the subdued contempt that she holds for anything or anyone that dares to brand itself a woman yet will not go to the exact same lengths she does to personify her feminine ideal.

This poor woman was probably seduced into this lifestyle by the promises fed to her by the people who raised her. Surprisingly enough, Constantine is not the one who brainwashed her; if anything, the way he acts around her gives the distinct impression that he wants something else from his wife and marriage, bordering on despondence. Yet, she performs well on a logistic scale, so nothing ever changes. Everything is stagnant and stifled. Painfully so. But, as long as she can chastise people for wearing pants and herself wear ankle-length dresses deep into summer, she is happy. For the sake of anything good, do not rile her up about the topic of childbirth.

Her birthday is unknown to me. I am keeping it that way.
