Deirdre's a nice girl. She's really mellow and calm, but she's always a little bit high-strung. She's been around Burncastle since she was around maybe, like, 12 or so? Right after her surgery, which I think she had when she was 12, she moved here. She's always been a little nervous, but she's calmed down a bit more starting a few years ago. It probably helped her a lot to have a psychiatrist like Constantine for a dad, and plus to finally get a little bit of that sweet adult-like freedom. She's nervous in the same way that you might get from a high level manager who's got to deliver key performance indexes, you know? Always monitoring the situation. Never has a lapse in attention.

She's, like, medium height I guess. Her hair is really damn long and she wears it in a way where she has these curtain-like bangs, coming down from a middle part and getting tucked behind the hair on the side of her head. It's the kind of hair you'd see on one of those ghosts that possess video tapes, you know? It really fits her. She's kinda like a ghost or maybe a revenant, which is a compliment by the way. She's pretty, in that same haunting way. Oh, and she's a hybrid too. The whites of her eyes are black and she used to have face lines when she was young, but she had them sewn shut, so now all that's left are the scars that run up her face like stairs. Her body runs REALLY cold, like, REALLY REALLY cold, and so it can be spooky to get touched by her unexpectedly. I'm a little selfish, though, because it means she naturally seeks to be close to people for warmth, and who am I to deny a poor girl like her a spot of the old snuggle?

Speaking of weird stuff 'bout her, I think she has OCD or bad anxiety something. Obligatorily, I gotta say I'm no psychologist, but the way she acts just screams it to me. It's a little cute sometimes, but it makes me feel bad. She acts like 'holding your hand' is something that needs a 400 page bureaucratic assessment of consent before hand, or else she's gonna be executed at dawn for sexual assault. Not only that, but she gets all kinds of cagey when she wants to express herself. It's sad too, because when she actually does get the courage to do it, she's even more charming than usual. I like it when Deirdre's Deirdre. I try to introduce her to some of my buds, like Mallory and, like, Zoey and Ivy. Obviously, Deirdre makes a good effort, but, you know... it makes her look uncomfortable just to try. Poor baby.
