Van der Gros Villa

Deirdre's house is this gigantic manor that sits in the middle of the woods some ways north up in Burncastle, right on the river. It's not nearly as ugly as the other rich people houses in town, like around the uptown area, but it's not exactly pretty. It's all minimalistic and shit, and cube-y. With that being said, I do have to give props for it being a pretty soundly designed place. It's not like some of the uptown houses where they sacrifice a LOT of safety (and probably bribe a few inspectors) in order to have a 'pretty' house that ends up producing lethal 4-foot long icicles. This one is like, uh, a concrete box. Yeah. Imagine your average modernist house, or something. That's what it looks like. There's a waterfall underneath part of it, under what I think is Constantine's study. Constantine is Deirdre's dad, by the way, in case you didn't already know.

There's not that many rooms, but every room is HUGE. Deirdre's room is the size of a friggin' living room. No joke. It's awesome for sleepovers though, and, like, hanging out too. You can set stuff up pretty much anywhere with no issue. The kitchen is ridiculously nice, but everything is really clean and all made of either floor tiles or stainless steel, so it has the impression of a big restaurant. Or, maybe an evil science lab. I've not been, since I definitely don't wanna snoop around and have Constantine of all people catch me, but I heard that there's a wine cellar. It's all air conditioned too, throughout the whole building, because Constantine opted for those big ass industrial air conditioners. It's weird though, since I figure both him and Deirdre have that weird low body temp thing going on. It's a pretty damn nice place though.
