Hybrid

Hybridism is kind of a hard topic to talk about. It's not like it's sensitive or something, but it's, like, literally hard to talk about. It's kind of a birth defect, but not really because nobody who has it actually self-identifies as, like, disabled. Still, though, I don't think anyone's figured out a word to describe something like it yet that doesn't make it sound like you got problems. Anyways, when you're a hybrid, you're born with a few extra, like, mutations, and it usually just makes you either really tall or really short, and then gets you, like, these lines in your face. Sometimes hybrid peeps kind of look a little intimidating at first if you're not used to it, because sometimes they don't have eyes or a nose or something. They're still just normal people, though, so don't freak out.

Like I said before, hybrids either end up stumpy and thick or tall and lean. Nine times out of ten, the only thing that a hybrid gets are the face lines and maybe they're a little taller or shorter. It's not really that impactful of a condition to have, to be honest, but it's kind of a stupid thing to say because, like, of course it's not impactful if it isn't impactful. It's gotta be a little rough to be like, nine feet tall. Something weird I notice is that a lot of hybrids got stupid low body temps. Like, you hug them, and it feels like you're getting hugged by a corpse. It's kinda nice in the summer though.

Burncastle is full of hybrids, mostly because there's a big ass school for them here, but also because there's, like, some kinda ancestral thing going on. Like, as in, you know, the families around here have been hybrids ofr a long time. You know, like, descended from the Semyot, I think they're called. Tourists come around sometimes, and it's always funny as fuck, 'cause they always shit their pants when they see a hybrid for the first time.
