the west building is the main like actual psych ward at cpi. its ok. its kind of old as fuck and it smells funny in some places like the closets, but its not that bad really. the beds and chairs are surprisingly comfy. the staff can be assholes sometimes but theyre just tired all of the time and can get catty if youre not polite to them. dont treat them like maids i guess. the furniture is really nice though.

the building doesnt have any sort of built in eating area, so youll end up having to go to the south building for eating and shit. its a privilege though, and if youre gonna be a 'run away'-type, then theyre just gonna grab food from somewhere and bring it back to you. its kind of rare that there are people like this but its always a little sad when it happens. it always happens. anyways, its often that you end up eating with some of the people from the south building like deirdre or zoey. its fun. i like eating with them.
