It's Deirdre's dad. He's big and kind of scary, but he's actually kind of calm and gentle. He is serious all the time. He invented CPI and built it so that hybrids have a place to go to school, and also helps mentally ill people. He's a psychyatrist. He is rich enough that he built a really big house in Burncastle for him and his family to live in. He doesn't talk a lot and he talks in a really fancy way.

Deirdre is always really scared and worried about him, but not in a way that's like a little kid, but like a spy from a spy movie who's trying not to get caught by the other evil spy. It's weird and confusing but I don't really mind it. He is married to Deirdre's mom, and they get along really nice. He gets along with Deirdre too but Deirdre is still scared of him. He says Deirdre has an iron deficiency and needs to take supplements, becauise the low iron in her blood makes her too nervous.
